About The Position

If you'd rather move than sit, this job is for you. We solve complex challenges for our clients in ways others can't or won't, on commercial projects and military bases like Camp Pendleton. You'll be the one who gets the right parts, tools, and trucks where they need to be. Every day is different: warehouse, forklift, yard, and road. You own your areas: no standing around waiting for instructions. You see exactly what you got done at the end of each day.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check for government/military base access
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work
• Flexible for overtime when jobs demand it

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse or delivery experience is a plus
• Forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Receive and identify supplier deliveries; notify Project Managers
• Stage materials and job boxes for upcoming jobs
• Load units and materials for jobsite delivery
• Keep the warehouse organized so anything can be found fast
• Sort and save reusable material
• Keep the forklift inspected, fueled, and ready
• Make jobsite deliveries, material pickups, and scrap runs
• Represent PMC professionally to our crews and customers
• Run tool check-out for crews and jobsites
• Keep the tool tracking system current
• Handle tool repairs; purchase, mark, and log new tools
• Secure and track spare keys
• Maintain vehicle records and flag upcoming maintenance
• Monitor fuel cards and GPS
• Run monthly vehicle inspections and follow up on issues
• Wash and clean out vehicles at check-in
• Maintain stake beds and shop trucks
• Keep parking lots clear of nails and debris
• Keep the building front clean and plants trimmed
• Clean inside weekly, including bathrooms, floors, and trash
