About The Position

Brown Equipment Company (BEC) is seeking a motivated Parts and Service Sales Representative (PSSR) for a territory-based role involving daily customer visits. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers maintain their equipment. The PSSR will promote parts, service, preventative maintenance, and repair solutions to municipalities and contractors, aiming to reduce downtime and maximize equipment performance. This is a field-based role, not a desk job, focused on delivering consultative solutions and becoming a trusted advisor to customers.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and goal-driven
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Must reside within or near the assigned territory

Nice To Haves

  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Parts and service industry experience strongly preferred
  • Mechanical, hydraulic, or technical aptitude is a major plus
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Promote parts, service, preventative maintenance, and repair solutions
  • Help customers extend equipment life and reduce costly downtime
  • Work closely with Equipment Consultants and internal teams
  • Visit customer locations throughout your assigned territory
