Parts Advisor

Swickard Eugene, LLC d/b/a BMW of Eugene•Eugene, OR
•$18 - $22•Onsite

About The Position

The Parts Advisor role at BMW of Eugene is a critical position within the service department. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently filling internal parts orders for service technicians, processing retail and wholesale parts sales, and maintaining accurate records in the dealership management system (DMS). The ideal candidate will be accurate, organized, and proficient with parts lookup, ensuring technicians and service advisors receive the correct parts promptly. This position is crucial for maintaining service throughput and guest satisfaction within a technically sophisticated BMW service operation.

Requirements

  • Dealership parts counter, automotive aftermarket, or comparable parts experience preferred -- BMW or European brand parts familiarity a meaningful advantage
  • Accurate and fast with parts lookups -- you know how to navigate an electronic parts catalog efficiently and you verify part numbers before pulling, not after
  • Proactive communicator -- when a part is backordered or superseded, the technician and advisor hear it from you immediately, not when they come looking for it
  • Organized and detail-oriented -- the right part to the right bay at the right time is the standard, and inventory accuracy depends on consistent binning and documentation discipline
  • Comfortable with DMS platforms or quick to learn them
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
