About The Position

Tampa Honda is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor with strong automotive knowledge and a passion for helping customers. This role involves providing customer-focused parts support for both retail customers and the Service Department. The ideal candidate will take pride in accuracy, communication, and supporting customers and technicians. Tampa Honda is part of Lithia & Driveway, a large automotive retail group with over 400 locations, recognized for its positive work culture, stability, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills
Basic math skills for inventory and invoicing
Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
Acceptable driving record + valid driver’s license
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Provide fast, accurate, customer-focused parts support for retail customers and the Service Department.
Answer phones, greet customers, and communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person.
Assist with parts inquiries, stock checks, and order processing following ITC/ICC standards.
Work closely with technicians to supply correct parts for repairs.
Receive, inspect, unpack, store, and track parts; maintain perpetual inventory.
Create accurate ADP invoices, process payments, and handle credits.
Manage core returns, warranty parts, and general returns.
Maintain a clean, organized counter and stockroom.
