About The Position
As a Parts Advisor, you will assist customers and service technicians in selecting and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Parts Advisor reports to the Parts Manager and is an onsite role.
Requirements
- Mathematics – calculations of inventory, payments and invoices.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
- Proficiency in using computer software for parts management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of previous experience in automotive parts or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts and accessories.
- Provide accurate information on parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
- Process orders and handle transactions.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts inventory.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure accurate parts delivery.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
