About The Position

We are seeking a Parts Account Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of JJE’s Head Office in Innisfil, Ontario. As the Parts Account Representative you will be responsible for building and maintaining long‑term customer relationships while delivering professional, timely, and accurate support for heavy‑equipment parts orders. This role acts as the key liaison between customers and internal parts, service, and inventory teams to ensure parts solutions are sourced, quoted, and delivered in alignment with customer needs. The Parts Account Representative will manage inbound and outbound inquiries, identify parts requirements, promote product offerings, and support overall account growth through exceptional customer service and strong product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Sales, Business Administration, a related program or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in a Parts Account Representative, Account Management or similar customer-facing role
  • Experience in sourcing and delivering customer-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Experience using ERP or Inventory Management systems
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, team player and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules as required to meet business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to a heavy equipment work environment is preferred
  • Bilingual considered an asset
  • Sales or upselling experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts via phone, email, and internal systems
  • Build strong long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and customer retention
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to convert customer inquiries into confirmed sales
  • Research and identify parts solutions for customers
  • Accurately quote pricing, availability, and delivery timelines and close sales efficiently
  • Collaborate with parts, service, and inventory teams to maximize conversion and order fulfillment success
  • Proactively promote parts campaigns, promotions, and new product launches
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for account growth
  • Recommend related/ complementary parts
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalation as needed
  • Liaise with Inventory Team to ensure all parts orders are delivered in alignment with JJE service level agreements and procedures to meet customer expectations
  • Proactively provide order status updates and communicate new products to customers
  • Proactively participate in training to ensure a progressive and diverse knowledge of all JJE equipment, products and parts
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
