About The Position

The Partnerships & Pathways Coordinator supports Thread's Partnerships & Pathways team in building and managing partnerships, resources, and career pathway programs. This role focuses on two main areas: partnership and resource coordination, ensuring partner records, referral pathways, and agreement documentation are organized and current; and career pathway program support, assisting in the execution of programs like Maryland Service Year and Baltimore City YouthWorks, as well as community-wide events such as career expos and employer engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Highly organized, comfortable with detail-oriented documentation and data-entry work.
  • Proactive problem solver.
  • Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and project management tools like Asana, or an interest in learning to use different tech tools for organizing lots of information.
  • Interest in coaching other Thread members through barriers.
  • Interest in workforce development, community partnerships, or program coordination.
  • Maryland resident, age 18+, and meets MC/SYO eligibility requirements (Service Year Option track: ages 18-24 with a high school diploma or equivalent; Maryland Corps track: any eligible adult 18+, no education requirement).
  • Able to commit to full-time service (30-40 hrs/week, generally Monday-Friday during business hours) for the full 9-10 month term, along with required MC/SYO professional development training.

  • Comfort supporting event logistics and communicating with external partners is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Help track and maintain enrollment, onboarding, and placement documentation for Thread young people and volunteers participating in Maryland Corps/Service Year Option.
  • Provide Member support in navigating resources, opportunities, and deadlines within the Maryland Corps/Service Year program.
  • Coordinate and disseminate regular communications and updates to Members.
  • Represent Thread in meetings with Host Site Partners and other collaborators engaged in Maryland Corps/Service Year.
  • Maintain accurate partner contact information, relationship maps, and resource documentation.
  • Help organize and track partnership agreements, referral pathways, and follow-through on partner commitments.
  • Support the planning and logistics of recurring partner events, including the biannual partnership brunch and other partner convenings.
  • Help coordinate enrollment and placement of Thread young people in YouthWorks.
  • Support pathway exposure events such as career expos, employer engagement opportunities, job shadow days, and other post-secondary exploration sessions.
  • Help compile participation and partnership data (e.g., active partnerships, enrollment numbers, completion rates) to support the team's reporting.
