About The Position

The Partnerships Associate plays a critical role in supporting the execution, operations, and performance of our partnerships and development efforts. This position sits at the intersection of partnerships, development, events, and operations ensuring smooth administrative processes, accurate data management, effective research, and timely support for internal teams and external partners. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented, organized professional who enjoys building systems, supporting cross-functional teams, and contributing to streamlined processes.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field of study or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management, development, operations, and/or finance
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining databases
  • Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Familiarity with a customer relationship management (CRM) system such as Salesforce
  • Exceptional attention to detail and task follow-through
  • Ability to manage a variety of projects and special events with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Ability to carry out duties respecting the sensitive and confidential nature of donor-related information and materials, and to demonstrate mature judgment in handling donor concerns
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Support Chief Partnerships Officer in managing schedules and coordinating projects
  • Conduct research and prepare memos on initiatives, partners, and donors to support relationship management and fundraising including WealthX, iwave, and online research
  • Lead team meetings by preparing and managing agendas, documenting key discussions and decisions, and distributing action items
  • Assist with ad hoc special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Support logistical and administrative contracting/payment processes (e.g., communicating with external vendors to collect necessary documents, including contracts, invoices, and W9s)
  • Support Events team with budget reconciliation and vendor communications, ensuring accuracy and prompt vendor payments
  • Manage Asana projects, track internal action items, and update internal project timelines
  • Support team members to identify, implement, migrate information to, and maintain a Salesforce CRM for effective donor and data management across all Partnerships and Development teams
  • Upload and maintain events, foundation, corporate, and individual donor records and files, specifically qualitative data to ensure contacts, accounts, and campaigns are updated
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and internal guides
  • Compile lists for event attendance
