Requirements

  • Strong experience in partnership taxation, including Subchapter K and IRC 704(b).
  • Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns (K-1s, joint ventures, non-corporate entities).
  • Hands-on experience with tax compliance, consulting, and planning strategies.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and tax accounting principles.
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and leading project execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in mentoring and developing teams.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active CPA (Texas license or ability to obtain reciprocity).
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience.
  • Prior experience in public accounting or a mix of public accounting and industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with partnership structuring, entity formation, and M&A transactions.
  • Prior experience in Big 4 or Top 15 public accounting firms.
  • Experience handling clients with revenues ranging from $50M to $1B.
  • Strong business development and client acquisition experience.
  • Industry exposure across sectors such as Technology, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, etc.

  • Deliver strategic tax advisory and compliance services.
