Partner Marketing Lead, Resellers

Anthropic•San Francisco, CA
•$320,000 - $400,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Anthropic is hiring its first dedicated marketer for the Claude Partner Network’s reseller track. Authorized reseller partners sell Claude directly to end customers and need marketing programs, funding, and proof points to build their practices and advance through partner tiers. This foundational role leads reseller marketing globally, setting strategy, standards, and playbooks and building the tier-advancement path from the ground up. The role works across regions and with agency partners, shaping how reseller marketing fits into Anthropic’s broader partner strategy and aligning reseller activity with Anthropic’s direct sales efforts. It will also help establish standards for future marketers as the practice grows.

Requirements

  • Have owned marketing strategy for a partner or channel program, setting priorities and investment decisions rather than only executing plans.
  • Have built and run co-marketing programs with channel, reseller, or distribution partners, including partner-funded budgets such as MDF or co-op funding and ROI reporting.
  • Have sourced and managed agencies or contractors across multiple regions, including scoping work, managing budgets, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Have run marketing programs across multiple international markets.
  • Understand indirect sales motions, including how partners find, register, and close deals, and be able to write marketing that reaches partner sellers and end customers.
  • Be able to build joint plans and value propositions that articulate clear customer business outcomes.
  • Have defined success measures for a partner or channel program and used the results to change investment decisions.
  • Be skilled at tracking program performance in a CRM or equivalent system and turning data into clear recommendations.
  • Write clearly and precisely, and be able to hold partner-produced copy to brand and approval standards.
  • Build trusted relationships with partner marketing and sales teams and move priorities forward with partners who are not direct reports.
  • Be able to make and defend decisions with incomplete data and know when to escalate.
  • Be highly organized and able to manage several partner plans at once without compromising quality.
  • Be comfortable building processes from scratch in an environment where the playbook is still being written.
  • Take ownership of outcomes and step in wherever work needs to be done.
  • Care about AI’s societal impacts and be excited about enabling responsible AI adoption.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Have a field of study relevant to the role, demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Have 7 or more years of marketing experience, with significant focus on partner marketing in B2B technology environments.
  • Have launched or scaled an early-stage partner program, including tier design, benefits, and promotion criteria.
  • Have produced partner-led customer stories, managing approvals and public announcement timelines.
  • Have experience with cloud marketplace reseller motions, such as private offers or co-sell programs.
  • Have localized marketing content and campaigns for multiple international markets.
  • Have established relationships with resellers, distributors, or systems integrators.
  • Have experience with partner relationship management tools and Salesforce partner data.
  • Understand enterprise AI use cases across industries and functions.
  • Have set standards for or mentored other marketers, formally or informally.
  • Have used Claude or other AI tools to scale marketing work.

Responsibilities

  • Set reseller-track marketing strategy, investment priorities, and quarterly and annual plans tied to registered pipeline and reseller revenue.
  • Define and maintain the reseller marketing playbook and co-marketing standards as the program launches and expands.
  • Represent partner marketing in program design, working with Partnerships, Commercial Operations, and Legal on benefits, market development funds (MDF), and tier criteria.
  • Create joint marketing plan templates for reseller partners, including campaign calendars and success metrics.
  • Source, select, and manage agency partners supporting reseller programs globally, including scopes, budgets, quality standards, and performance reviews; build a scalable regional agency roster.
  • Run partner-led campaigns with agencies using co-branded and localized kits, and help partners adapt campaigns for their buyers.
  • Manage MDF end to end, helping partners develop proposals, tracking approvals and documentation, and connecting funded activities to registered pipeline.
  • Plan customer stories, certification efforts, and public proof points that help partners advance tiers in time for January and July reviews.
  • Develop partner wins into customer stories with Customer Marketing, managing the process from interview through partner and Anthropic approvals.
  • Coordinate joint announcements and press with Anthropic Communications, managing review timelines and ensuring partner copy meets messaging and brand standards.
  • Work with Channel Account Managers and field teams on audience and account targeting so reseller campaigns extend Anthropic’s reach and complement direct sales.
  • Define reseller marketing targets and KPIs for pipeline, reseller revenue, and campaign ROI; build reporting and use results to guide investment and program changes.
  • Report on partner-sourced pipeline and reseller revenue influence, tracking every activation at 30, 60, and 90 days.
  • Keep reseller partners informed through the CPN monthly broadcast and newsletter, and incorporate partner needs and results into program planning.
