About The Position

Jewish Voice Ministries International is hiring a Partner Engagement Specialist to build relationships with Shalom Partners and other ministry supporters through outbound calls. The role includes expressing appreciation, sharing approved ministry campaigns and matching gift opportunities, reconnecting with partners whose giving has slowed or lapsed, and helping supporters find ways to remain engaged. The specialist listens to partners, answers questions, may pray with them when appropriate, and refers those ready for a deeper relationship to the Philanthropy team. The position is based at the Phoenix office, with the possibility of moving to a hybrid schedule after the first 90 days.

The specialist documents conversations and follow-up in the partner database, supports recurring gift changes and renewals while respecting partner preferences, and represents the ministry with warmth, professionalism, and integrity. The role is grounded in the organization’s Christian faith and mission, including prayer for partners and a willingness to walk alongside them.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport naturally.
• Comfort initiating conversations and maintaining a steady outbound calling cadence.
• Persistence, resilience, and a positive attitude, including through difficult calls.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• A genuine heart for people and willingness to walk alongside a team that prays for its partners.
• Comfort praying with a partner who asks and representing a ministry with warmth and integrity.

Nice To Haves

• Additional education in communications, customer service, ministry, or fundraising.
• One or more years of outbound calling, donor relations, customer service, retention, or fundraising experience.
• Experience with a CRM or donor management system.
• Spanish-speaking ability.

Responsibilities

• Make proactive outbound calls to Shalom Partners and other ministry partners to express appreciation and strengthen relationships.
• Participate in outbound campaign calls, sharing approved ministry campaigns, matching gift opportunities, and special appeals.
• Reconnect with partners whose giving has lapsed or declined and help them find meaningful ways to stay engaged.
• Use active listening, thoughtful questions, and prayer when appropriate to understand each partner’s story.
• Assist partners with recurring gift changes, renewals, and additional gifts while respecting their preferences and decisions.
• Recognize partners ready for a deeper relationship and connect them with the Philanthropy team.
• Accurately document partner conversations and follow-up in the partner database.
• Represent Jewish Voice Ministries International with professionalism, warmth, and integrity on every call.
