About The Position
WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the St. George area. Shifts run 1–2 hours per evening, Monday through Friday - starting around 6:30 or 7:00 PM. This role is ideal for students, second-job seekers, or anyone looking to build extra income around an existing schedule. The job offers short, independent evening shifts with no weekends required, allowing for a good work-life balance.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- Valid Utah driver's license and auto insurance.
- Smartphone with an active data plan and location services.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
- A personal open-bed pickup truck is required at select sites (pay increases to $25/hr at those locations).
- No experience required; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors each evening.
- Transport collected items to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor.
- Separate recycling and check for contamination.
- Clean up any loose trash around common areas.
- Use a mobile app for check-in/check-out, documenting the route, uploading photos, and leaving courtesy notices when needed.
- Occasionally assist with pet waste station servicing.
