About The Position

WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the Logan area for short evening shifts that fit around your life. Shifts run 1–2 hours per evening, Monday through Friday - starting around 6:30 or 7:00 PM. No experience is required, and training is provided. This job is popular for its short shifts, with most Porters finishing in under 2 hours and being home for the night. It offers no weekends, allowing for completely free weekends. Porters work independently, managing their routes at their own pace without micromanagement. It's ideal for busy individuals such as students, those seeking a second job, or anyone looking to build extra income around an existing schedule, offering consistent and predictable work with the same route and time every week. Competitive pay is offered, starting at $20/hr at standard sites and $25/hr at sites requiring a personal open-bed pickup truck. Requirements

Must be 18 or older
Valid Utah driver's license
Auto insurance
Smartphone with an active data plan and location services
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
Personal open-bed pickup truck (required at select sites)

Responsibilities

Walk assigned apartment communities and collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors
Transport collected items to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor
Separate recycling and check for contamination
Clean up any loose trash around common areas
Check-in and check-out through a mobile app, documenting the route and uploading photos
Leave courtesy notices when needed
On occasion, assist with pet waste station servicing
