About The Position

WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the Downtown Salt Lake City area. Shifts run 1–2 hours per evening, Monday through Friday - starting around 6:30 or 7:00 PM. No experience required. Training provided. This role is ideal for students, second-job seekers, or anyone looking to earn extra income around an existing schedule. The job offers consistent and predictable routes, allowing you to work independently at your own pace.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid Utah driver's license.
• Valid auto insurance.
• Smartphone with an active data plan and location services.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
• A personal open-bed pickup truck is required at select sites (pay increases to $25/hr at those locations).

Nice To Haves

• No experience required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Walk assigned apartment communities each evening to collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors.
• Transport collected items to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor.
• Separate recycling and check for contamination.
• Clean up any loose trash around common areas.
• Use a mobile app to check-in and check-out, document routes, upload photos, and leave courtesy notices when needed.
• Occasionally assist with pet waste station servicing.
