About The Position

WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the West Jordan area. Shifts run 1–2 hours per evening, Monday through Friday - starting around 6:30 or 7:00 PM. No experience required. Training provided. This role is perfect for students, second-job seekers, or anyone building extra income around an existing schedule. The job offers short shifts, no weekends, and the opportunity to work independently. Each evening, you will walk your assigned apartment community and collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors, then transport everything to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor. You will separate recycling, check for contamination, and clean up any loose trash around common areas. Check-in and check-out happens through a mobile app, where you'll document your route, upload photos, and leave courtesy notices when needed. On occasion, you may assist with pet waste station servicing.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid Utah driver's license.
• Valid auto insurance.
• Smartphone with an active data plan and location services.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
• A personal open-bed pickup truck is required at select sites (pay increases to $25/hr at those locations).
• No experience required; training is provided.

Responsibilities
