About The Position

WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring a Lead Doorstep Trash & Recycling Collector in the Lehi area. This is a part-time leadership role requiring 10–15 hours per week. You'll provide operational support Monday–Friday evenings, conduct service audits, and train Service Porters to develop and uphold our Standard Operating Procedures. No prior valet experience required. Training provided. This role is perfect for candidates with management experience looking for flexible, part-time evening work. We serve apartment communities across Utah, Nevada, and Idaho. Our Porters are the backbone of what we do - and we take care of the people who take care of our communities.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Valid Utah driver's license.
Auto insurance.
Personal open-bed pickup truck is required.
Smartphone with an active data plan and location services is required.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Willing to submit to a background check.
Reliable, conscientious, detail-oriented, and exhibit a friendly and helpful attitude toward property management, staff, and residents.

Nice To Haves

2–3 years of prior managerial or team oversight experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with your team to make sure all doorstep trash and recycling pick-ups are covered each evening.
Audit properties.
Provide onsite shadow training.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with your team.
Help direct fill-ins or step in to ensure service is completed when staffing gaps arise.
Use critical thinking to resolve customer service issues or emergencies in the moment.
Make decisions that balance the needs of property management, staff, and residents.
Train and guide your team.
Ensure every resident gets great service.
