About The Position

Zoox is an autonomous ridehailing company building the world's first purpose-built robotaxi. The ASTE team works on autonomy behavioral validation. The triager role is to take on a list of "events" to be triaged, where each event is comprised of an Argus visualization link of hero's behavior (either in real life or in simulation), and there is a set of instructions on what to look for (what is a true issue and what is a false positive issue), and there are instructions on further analysis tools to determine this. The triager will then look through all of the events and provide an analysis on the issues. This is a part-time student worker program designed to complement academic experience by providing meaningful, ongoing work alongside studies. It is not an internship and does not include structured intern programming or a pathway to full-time employment. Compensation is $30/hour. This is a contract position through a vendor.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in a relevant discipline.
  • Available to commit to a minimum three-month assignment.
  • Able to commit a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Able to work on-site at one of our office locations.
  • Must adhere with Zoox confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities
