About The Position

The Part Time Sales Lead is an entry-level leadership role responsible for opening and closing the store, supporting sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and executing day-to-day store operations. The role supports the Store Manager by following customer engagement strategies and maintaining merchandising standards that contribute to a positive customer experience. The Sales Lead may act as Manager on Duty when other members of the leadership team are absent, assist with training and onboarding, and help direct team members' tasks. The role requires a flexible schedule and a minimum availability of 30 hours per week, including one weekend day and rotating holidays. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
Be available for a minimum of 30 hours per week, including one weekend day and rotating holidays.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Operate office equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts and walk to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
Regularly lift or maneuver 25 pounds and occasionally lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Push or pull full racks of merchandise for store restocking.
Reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Perform occasional manual labor to assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
Read labels accurately and perform tasks requiring attention to detail.
Use fine manipulation and grasping to sort and organize clothing, including hanging, folding, and arranging items by color or size.

Retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Uphold high retail standards and deliver customer service consistent with company standards.
Initiate conversations with customers, learn their interests, and suggest relevant products.
Assist customers in the fitting room and provide advice about product performance, features, and specifications.
Use suggestive selling to recommend products aligned with customer needs and encourage purchases.
Promote the rewards program, meet weekly loyalty sign-up goals, and learn about new products and trends.
Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist with opening and closing, freight processing, transaction processing, cash handling, and point-of-sale integrity.
Follow company and store policies, procedures, and operational guidelines, and communicate concerns to store leadership.
Assign tasks to team members as directed to support operational needs.
Respond quickly to customer or employee injuries and report them immediately to the Manager on Duty.
Participate in Loss Prevention Audits and follow loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
Act as Manager on Duty when other members of the leadership team are absent.
Communicate employee concerns directly to the Store Manager.
Assist with onboarding and training new team members in sales behaviors, customer service expectations, and store procedures.
Address customer concerns professionally and in accordance with company guidelines.
