This position is for a family in McMurray, PA, seeking a nanny for their newborn son who is expected in October. The role begins in early to mid-January and is expected to last through the end of 2027 or early 2028. The nanny will primarily focus on the baby's care, including feeding, napping, tummy time, reading, walks, and engaging in play. As the baby grows, outings to local parks, libraries, and museums will be encouraged. The nanny will also be responsible for baby laundry, bottles, pump parts, and keeping the baby's spaces organized. The parents work from home and have a finished basement that will serve as the nanny's dedicated workspace. The family values consistency and a predictable routine for the baby and seeks a nanny who enjoys establishing and maintaining healthy sleep habits and a smooth daily rhythm. Open and direct communication is highly valued. The ideal candidate is reliable, mature, and experienced with infants, capable of confidently managing a baby's day. While routine-oriented, they should also be adaptable to a baby's changing needs. Warmth, affection, and a playful demeanor are essential. The family has previous positive experience with a nanny and aims to foster a trusting and collaborative relationship.

Requirements

• Previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Care for a 3-month-old baby, including snuggles, bottles, tummy time, books, neighborhood walks, songs, naps, and milestones.
• Engage with the baby as he gets older, including outings to local parks, libraries, and museums.
• Assist with baby laundry, bottles, and pump parts.
• Keep the baby's spaces stocked and organized.
• Be flexible to lend an extra hand if the older sister is home sick or school is closed.
• Establish and maintain a predictable nap schedule and daily routine.
• Observe baby's cues and create healthy sleep habits.
• Communicate openly and directly with the family.
