About The Position

Part time Nanny (live out) required for a Carroll Gardens family with 2 boys starting Fall 2026 (in place by the start of new school year). The family is looking for a loving and dependable caregiver to support their twin boys, aged 8. The ideal candidate is someone who is patient, emotionally attuned, and able to set firm limits with care. The parents are looking to partner with a nanny who is able to stay calm and consistent through big emotions and behavioral challenges, while guiding and modeling effective coping strategies for the children. The primary focus is daily child related meal prep, school pick up and providing engaging after school care - including after school activities, dinner, and evening routine. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong communicator and be proactive in managing daily tasks like children's active schedules, transitions and cooking meals. A candidate with energy for active + busy afternoons and evenings is key to this role!

Requirements

Authorization to work in the US
At least 3-5 years, 5 years plus experience preferred supporting busy homes (ideally with multiple school aged children)
A well-suited demeanor and experience working with ADHD, school aged children
Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
Physically able (and interest) in managing 2 children on daily commutes and outdoor play
Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
Readiness to complete child related tasks
