About The Position

A lovely family in Brooklyn Heights is seeking a long-term part-time nanny for their 2-year-old son. The family also has an 8-year-old daughter who is with them twice a week, though support is needed only for the toddler. This position is live-out. The typical schedule would be guaranteed 25 to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or the family is open to a three days a week workweek. The child will begin a 2s program in the fall, attending three mornings per week from 8:30 to 11:30am. During school hours, the nanny will focus on child related household tasks such as meal preparation, children’s laundry, toy and clothing organization, activity planning, and errands. The family travels once a year for one larger trip. Travel with the family is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Private household experience
• Valid US work authorization
• Strong verifiable references
• Must be willing to sign an NDA
• Experience caring for toddlers
• Calm and composed demeanor
• Must not be allergic to cats; two cats in the home
