MILWAUKEE, WI FAMILY SEEKING PART-TIME NANNY!

The Nanny League, Inc.•Milwaukee, WI
•$30 - $35•Onsite

About The Position

A warm, close family in Wauwatosa is seeking a part-time nanny for their two boys, ages 2 and 4, beginning in late December or early January, with January 1 at the latest. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting early at 6 AM, with mornings running until about 8:30 AM and a half-day schedule that runs until 12 PM on certain days. The family guarantees 20 hours per week. The 4-year-old attends daycare part of the week, so the nanny's days will shift around his schedule and activities such as swim class, and the family is open to candidates who currently have another role, provided the early morning hours work. The nanny will serve as a true third parent while in the home, helping the boys start their day with breakfast, supporting mom in getting lunches packed for school, and keeping play spaces picked up and organized. Duties include children's laundry, emptying the dishwasher each morning, and occasional basic errands, such as grocery runs with mom's list or returning Amazon orders. The nanny will also be needed for sick care when the boys cannot attend daycare, at mom's discretion, and for backup care when daycare is closed. A dependable vehicle is required, with mileage and gas reimbursement provided. The family has a high-energy, sweet 30 to 40 pound border collie who needs to be fed and let out, so comfort with dogs is required. The boys are sweet, spirited, and, like most toddlers, picky eaters. The family keeps the week screen-free and practices gentle parenting with clear boundaries, and the parents will be around the home. They are looking for an open, honest, loyal, and trustworthy communicator who partners with them as part of the team and feels comfortable bringing concerns to them directly. Spanish is a nice bonus but not required. Full vaccination is preferred, including Tdap and MMR, along with flu and Covid. Pay is $30-35/hr gross, paid via payroll, with a 20-hour weekly guarantee even when the family is traveling(roughly 3 weeks out of the year).
