Part-Time Nanny
About The Position
Jovie is seeking individuals with experience as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer for part-time nanny positions in Seattle. This role is ideal for those who can flex their schedule around school, family, or other part-time commitments. As a Part-Time Nanny, you will care for children in their homes, engage them in hands-on activities based on their interests and development, and support families needing backup care for children from infants to school-aged. High demand exists for care of children under two years old. Household duties are limited to cleaning up after your activities or meals with the child; no transportation of children is required.
Requirements
- 1 year of childcare experience
- At least 15 hours of availability per week
- Ability to pass a background screen
- 3 references (2 of which are childcare-related)
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Must be at least 17.5 years old

- Retired teacher or teaching professional
Responsibilities
- Care for children in-home
- Support families who need back-up care for children ranging from infants through school age
- Engage children by leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s interests and age-appropriate development
- Common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
