About The Position
A family in Washington DC is seeking a reliable, experienced caregiver to assist three children (ages 6 months, 2.5 years, and 4 years) with school pick-up and basic care needs in the afternoon. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 3 pm to 7 pm, totaling approximately 20 hours per week. The elementary school is a 5-10 minute walk from the family home.
Requirements
- Prior experience providing private childcare for infants, multiples, and school-aged children.
- CPR certified or willing to get CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish, French, or English as a first language.
Responsibilities
- Assist with some household chores like laundry, toys, and light cleaning.
- Pick up school-aged children from school (school is in walking distance).
- Assist with basic care, meal times, and playtime.
- Provide transportation via the family's provided vehicle on days when weather is not appropriate to walk.
