About The Position

The GameAbove College of Technology, School of Technology and Professional Services Management (STPSM) invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in the Business Management Marketing Technology Program. The appointment will start in the Fall 2026 semester. The successful applicant will teach a hybrid section (asynchronous/synchronous via Zoom class meetings) of Principles of Career and Technical Education —BMMT 251 and, depending on availability, other possible courses.

Requirements

• A Master of Science or Arts.
• A current CTE endorsement.

Nice To Haves

• Candidate holds a full teaching credential in business, (GQ) or industrial education, (TE) or related education subject area.
• Knowledge of Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum across multiple occupational areas, including associated safety and ethical considerations.
• Demonstrated understanding of effective lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional best practices.
• The ability to design a supportive and interactive learning environment, encouraging student participation, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving.
• Provide constructive feedback on student work to enhance understanding and application of concepts.

Responsibilities

• Teach a hybrid section (asynchronous/synchronous via Zoom class meetings) of Principles of Career and Technical Education —BMMT 251 and, depending on availability, other possible courses.
• Develop and maintain professional skills to ensure high-quality education for students.
• Meet with students during and outside of assigned classes.
• Assess student work and performance.
• Prepare syllabi and course materials.
• Provide copies of syllabi and course materials to their supervisor on request.
• Assign and submit grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules.
• Perform related departmental duties as required.
