About The Position
The American Sign Language Program seeks candidates to teach undergraduate courses such as ASL, deaf culture, history, or literature and linguistics courses. Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.
Requirements
- Fluency in American Sign Languages required.
- Cross-cultural understanding and excellent communication skills required.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.
- ASLTA or RID-certified strongly preferred.
- Three to five years of teaching experience in ASL, or interpreting strongly preferred.
