About The Position

Duxbury High School is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified World Language – ASL teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher will plan and implement lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, meet the needs of diverse learners, and use classroom management practices that support students’ social-emotional learning.

Duxbury High School serves 778 students and has 130 staff members. Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certification with an SEI Endorsement.
• World Language certification for grades 5–12.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Classroom management skills that support students’ social-emotional learning.
• Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners.
• Ability to plan and implement lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
