About The Position

The Department of Modern Languages at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a part-time position in Arabic to teach one 3-credit course in the fall term of the upcoming academic year, beginning September 1, 2026. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a teaching load of 1 course and will be primarily responsible for teaching an undergraduate Arabic language course. Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Arabic
• A PhD in a relevant field or be near completion
