About The Position
CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach History 101 and/or History 102 courses through the CSN Jumpstart Program at a Clark County School District (CCSD) high school. Teaching assignments will include college-level History courses delivered through the Jumpstart Program.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pre-approved by the social sciences department and the Jumpstart Program before submitting an application in Workday.
- Must have at least a Master's degree in history from a regionally accredited college or university and at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught (also from a regionally accredited college or university).
Responsibilities
- Prepare lectures and course materials.
- Develop exams, quizzes, and other assessment activities.
- Evaluate student learning and mastery of course outcomes.
- Participate in course and program assessment activities for accreditation and other purposes.
