About The Position

CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Sociology courses through the CSN Jumpstart Program at a Clark County School District (CCSD) high school. Teaching assignments will include college-level Sociology courses delivered through the Jumpstart Program.

Requirements

• Applicants must be pre-approved by the Human Behavior/Sociology department and the Jumpstart Program before submitting an application in Workday.
• Must have at least a Master's degree in Sociology from a regionally accredited college or university and at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught (from a regionally accredited college or university).

Responsibilities

• Teach Sociology classes at a prearranged high school using the official CSN course description, learning outcomes, approved syllabus, and college-level assessments.
• Coordinate with a CSN Faculty Liaison for site visits, assessment review, and academic alignment.
• Follow CSN grading standards and semester timelines, including the ability to refer students for tutoring or withdrawal if needed.
