Part-Time Hospitalist - Department of Ophthalmology
About The Position
The Emory University Department of Ophthalmology/Emory Eye Center is seeking a part-time Ophthalmologist Hospitalist (0.3 FTE) to support hospital-based ophthalmology services, including Midtown and EUH/EUHM coverage. This role is intended to provide dedicated coverage for a growing inpatient service at EUHM to support hospital-based ophthalmology services, including Midtown and EUH/EUHM coverage, reducing reliance on coverage currently being piecemealed by faculty during clinic time at Midtown, and supporting workflows where inpatient consults may require clinic-based testing as part of evaluation. Candidates should demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, a patient-centered approach, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.
