About The Position

Emory University’s Department of Ophthalmology/Emory Eye Center is seeking a part-time Ophthalmologist Hospitalist (0.3 FTE) to support hospital-based ophthalmology services, including Midtown and EUH/EUHM coverage. The role provides dedicated coverage for a growing inpatient service at EUHM, reduces reliance on coverage piecemealed by faculty during Midtown clinic time, and supports workflows in which inpatient consults may require clinic-based testing as part of evaluation. Candidates should demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, a patient-centered approach, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams. The position must be performed in person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to the employee.
