About The Position

The Part Time Holiday Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple areas to support business needs. Duties include serving customers at checkout, supporting credit and loyalty programs, processing and preparing merchandise, maintaining sales-floor recovery and cleanliness, and contributing to store safety and shrink-reduction goals. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.

This is a part-time holiday position at the HomeGoods store at 2618 King Ave West, Suite 1, Billings, Montana. The starting pay range is $15.00 to $15.50 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits and eligibility vary by service or hours requirements and are subject to applicable plan terms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and following established customer experience practices.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain and clean the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
