About The Position

The University of Findlay seeks applicants for a Part-Time Faculty of Forensic Science, beginning Fall 2025. A Ph.D. in biology or chemistry or closely related field, with practical experience in forensic science and teaching experience, is preferred. Those with master’s degrees in forensic science and/or substantive forensic science professional experience will be considered. ABD’s will also be considered for this position. Applicants are expected to possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate forensic science courses. Teaching responsibilities will include lower and upper-level undergraduate forensic science courses. The candidate should possess strong written and oral communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff, and a commitment to teaching excellence and student mentorship.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in biology or chemistry or closely related field, with practical experience in forensic science and teaching experience, is preferred.
