The University of Findlay invites applications for a part-time faculty position in Animal Science within the Department of Animal and Pre-Veterinary Studies, which serves nearly 600 undergraduate students. Requirements

  • Graduate or professional degree in Animal Science or related agriculture field (M.S., PhD, or DVM).
  • ABD candidates will be considered but degree must be conferred prior to the start of the contract.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize digital technologies for course design and delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior teaching experiences in higher education strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in Animal Science, which may include companion animal management, animal behavior, animal health and welfare, preventive medicine, physiology, animal handling, farm business management, livestock merchandising, meat science, meat animal evaluation, animal nutrition, livestock production and management, or professional development and career exploration.
  • Utilize digital technologies for course design and delivery.
