About The Position
The School of STEM Department of Natural Sciences at Vermont State University - Castleton Campus invites applications for a Part-Time teaching position in the Natural Sciences for Fall 2026 (August 24 -December 18, 2026). The current course assignment opportunity is BIO 1121L - Biology I - Lab, which involves 3 hours of Laboratory instruction per week (2.01 teaching credits per section). Multiple sections are available. This is the laboratory component of BIO 1121 - Biology 1, which is the first part of the comprehensive introductory biology series (BIO 1121 and BIO 1122) and emphasizes the molecular, cellular, genetic, and organismal level. Additional instructional opportunities in the Natural Sciences may become available throughout the academic year as staffing and curricular needs arise.
Requirements
- Master's degree or better in Biology, a related field or equivalent experience in the field
- Teaching experience at the college level is preferable

- Teach BIO 1121L - Biology I - Lab
