About The Position

Teach by semester for entry-level mathematics and statistics courses, including, but not limited to, undergraduate-level general education statistics, college algebra, quantitative reasoning, or trigonometry. Develop and deliver face-to-face, hybrid, and online instruction in mathematics and statistics. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Requirements

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • At least a master's degree in mathematics or master’s degree in a related field with eighteen graduate hours in mathematics, statistics, or data analytics by the time of appointment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior college-level teaching experience or appropriate K-12 teaching certification.
  • Proficiency with instructional tools and technology.
  • Experience teaching online courses or experience with WebAssign, MyLabsPlus/MyMathLab and/or Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces (ALEKS).
