About The Position

Portland Community College is accepting applications for a Part-Time Faculty Interest Pool in the Education Department at the Cascade Campus. This pool is used to identify applicants for part-time faculty assignments as course needs arise during the academic year. Applications may be considered for substitute or full-term class assignments. The department is looking for individuals to teach current PCC courses within the Education program. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in subject area (e.g., education, library, media) OR Master’s Degree in any related area plus 2 years of a combination of teaching and non-teaching work experience in the field.
  • Ability to establish residence in Oregon or Washington.
  • Official transcripts required within 2 weeks of offer date for required degrees.
  • Academic credentials must be from a regionally accredited US institution or a foreign institution with equivalent accreditation.
  • For credentials from other countries, transcripts must be evaluated by an agency in good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.

  • Ability to list current PCC courses that you would be able to teach.

Responsibilities
