About The Position
Portland Community College is accepting applications for a Part-Time Faculty Interest Pool in the Criminal Justice Department at the Cascade Campus. This pool is used to identify applicants as the need arises for new part-time faculty. Initial teaching opportunities will be limited to the campus classroom, and online or distance learning courses are not currently available for new part-time Criminal Justice faculty. This is not an announcement for a specific open position, but an interest pool for course assignment needs during the Academic Year.
Requirements
- MA, MS, JD or PhD in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice or related field from an accredited college and 3 years of full time non-teaching work experience in related field OR AS, BA, BS in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice or related field from an accredited college and 5 years of full time non-teaching work experience in related field.
- Ability to establish residence in Oregon or Washington.
- Must be in the Portland area for initial teaching opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Teach Criminal Justice courses at the Cascade Campus.
- Identify current PCC courses that you would be able to teach.
