Part-Time Drum Teacher - Lake Forest, CA
About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional drum/percussion instructor to teach part-time for their Lake Forest, CA school, Glee Music Academy. The role involves in-person instruction at the studio. Teachers can set their availability within open hours, with preference given to those with greater availability. The current need is for a part-time schedule on Wednesdays-Saturdays from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM, to cover a departing teacher's hours. The instructor must be able to teach beginner to advanced percussion, with a focus on Drum Set. Additional hours and days may become available. Experience working with younger students and neurodivergent students is preferred, and the ability to teach other instruments is a plus. Successful candidates will possess a strong music background (degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience), a passion for teaching, experience with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. Instructor pay ranges from $32-$36 per hour, commensurate with experience. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available after 30 days, and health benefit packages are offered to both part-time and full-time employees.
Requirements
