Violin/Viola Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Lake Forest, CA
About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional Violin/Viola long-term substitute teacher to teach part-time for their Lake Forest, CA school, Glee Music Academy. The role involves instructing students in person at the studio. The initial schedule is part-time, covering Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3pm-8pm. There is an option to extend as a regular teacher with additional hours available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3pm-8pm, and Saturdays from 9am-2pm. Teachers can set their availability within the open hours, with preference given to those with greater availability and consistency. Additional hours and days may be added based on studio space. Experience with younger students and neurodivergent students is preferred, and the ability to teach other instruments is a plus. Successful candidates will have a strong music background (degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent experience), a love of teaching, experience with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. Instructor pay ranges from $32-$36 per hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available after 30 days, and health benefit packages are offered to both part-time and full-time employees.
Requirements
