Part-Time Dentist | Outpatient Clinic Setting
About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking one or more Part-Time Dentists to provide care within structured, outpatient clinic environments throughout Southwest Michigan. Current locations include: Albion, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Portage. This opportunity currently includes approximately 6–8 visits per month, with the potential for additional visits as patient needs grow. A dentist may support the entire schedule or cover select locations based on availability and proximity. You’ll function as an extension of each center’s clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist seeking meaningful, mission-driven work with a predictable part-time schedule—without the overhead or administrative responsibilities of running a private practice. The setting is an established community-based outpatient clinic with on-site full-time staff, organized scheduling and patient flow, a coordinated, team-based care environment, a value-based model focused on seniors, and small, consistent patient populations. CMC manages the equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing the dentist to focus entirely on delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
- Active Michigan dental license
- Experience treating senior populations preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and chairside manner
- Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
- Willingness to travel between assigned Southwest Michigan locations, depending on availability
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care, including exams, preventive services, extractions, and basic restorative procedures
- Diagnose and manage oral health conditions commonly seen in aging populations
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
- Develop familiarity and continuity with patients at assigned locations
- Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting
