About The Position
The Penn State Berkey Creamery is seeking students for part-time work at their Creamery Arts Festival Tent. The primary need is for the week of the Arts Festival (July 6th-14th), with opportunities extending into the rest of the summer and the fall semester. The role involves customer service and operational tasks at the festival tent and potentially in the Creamery store during the fall. If hired for the fall, a commitment of at least two shifts per week is required: one 4-hour weekend shift and one weekday shift.
Requirements
- No experience is required
- Ability to follow simple directions and instructions from supervisors
- Good customer service qualities
- Must handle nuts and nut-based products
- Must work a minimum of 30 hours during July 6th-11th
- Must work approximately 15 hours from 7/12 to 7/14
- If hired for Fall, must work at least 2 shifts a week: one 4-hour shift during each weekend and one weekday shift
- Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
Responsibilities
