Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; CA teaching credential preferred but not required
- Experience in undergraduate college admissions, college counseling at the high school level, or other college-going related fields
- Commitment to Gateway's mission and to the success of first-generation college bound students in particular
Responsibilities
- Teach two sections of College Counseling 12, a course dedicated to assisting first semester seniors through the college application process, in the fall semester.
- Teach two sections of College Counseling 11, a course dedicated to preparing juniors for the college application process, in the spring semester.
- Collaborate with the college counseling team to counsel Gateway students, develop curriculum, and improve the college counseling program for students and families.
