The cafeteria satellite attendant is a staff member who assumes the responsibilities and duties assigned by the director. This role involves the safe preparation and handling of food, cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities, serving of food, and assisting with record keeping. The attendant performs duties efficiently within the allotted time, attends training meetings, and reports to work as scheduled. They are expected to maintain pleasant working relations with colleagues, follow all school committee policies and manager instructions regarding safety, sanitation, and work methods. Specific duties include food preparation, portioning, cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, setting up the serving counter, serving food, washing dishes and utensils, washing dining room tables, unpacking supplies, and stocking shelves. The attendant must operate equipment properly while maintaining safety standards and perform other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager.
