About The Position

Game Workers are needed in various capacities to support middle school and high school athletic events held at MISD locations. This is a seasonal, part-time role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of experience in working with the public (preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) years of experience in working with the public
• Degreed and Certified for Part-Time Coaching roles
• 20+ years of experience for specific Part-Time Coaching roles
• Certified for Lifeguard roles
• Degreed and Certified for Facilitator, MS Summer Recreation Program roles

Responsibilities

• Work athletic events at MISD locations in various capacities.
• Perform duties such as chain crew, game management, bookkeeping, ticket selling, ushering, gatekeeping, spotting, press box supervision, timing, scorekeeping, and announcing.
• Handle specific roles for different sports including football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, baseball, and softball.
• Potentially serve in other part-time roles such as coaching, lifeguarding, facilitating summer recreation programs, or working as an instructional assistant or ticket clerk.
