About The Position

The Part Time Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and applying customer experience principles. The associate helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store; follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position also supports a positive store culture and TJX policies and procedures.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow the merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
