About The Position
The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a Part-Time Afternoon Teacher to support classrooms during afternoon routines and dismissal transitions. This role helps ensure a smooth, safe, and organized end-of-day experience for children, staff, and families. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple age groups while supporting classroom coverage later in the day.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting multiple age groups
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children
- Assist with afternoon activities, playground supervision, and transitions
- Help maintain a clean and organized learning environment
- Provide ratio coverage across classrooms as needed
- Communicate professionally with families during pickup time
- Follow all New Jersey licensing and safety requirements
