Parsing Architect (AI) - Senior

Accenture Federal Services•Chantilly, VA

About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a highly experienced Parsing Architect (AI) to lead the systemic design, scaling strategy, and governance of an enterprise-level parsing and document preprocessing architecture. The role supports autonomous agents and LLM application stacks by designing how unstructured data lakes are ingested, validated, and segmented before indexing. The position involves building end-to-end frameworks and resilient, cost-optimized pipelines for processing multi-format unstructured data and streaming contextually rich data into AI environments. It also includes evaluating parsing technologies, defining semantic schemas and metadata protocols, architecting retrieval infrastructure, and establishing secure, high-assurance access controls for hybrid search systems. The architect collaborates with data governance, security, and compliance teams to support lineage tracing and PII/PHI filtering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8 years of experience in parsing architecture or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in data engineering and cognitive computing infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of semantic data schemas and metadata tagging.
  • Experience with high-throughput AI environments and document processing technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required, depending on position.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an end-to-end framework for ingesting and processing multi-format unstructured data.
  • Evaluate and orchestrate parsing technologies, including OCR, multimodal vision-language models, and document processing APIs.
  • Build resilient, cost-optimized pipelines for streaming contextually rich data into AI environments.
  • Define unified semantic data schemas, chunking rules, and metadata tagging protocols.
  • Architect retrieval infrastructure, including indexing strategies and vector database integrations.
  • Establish high-assurance access controls for secure and accurate hybrid search systems.
  • Collaborate with data governance, security, and compliance teams to enforce lineage tracing and PII/PHI filtering.
