About The Position
Parks maintenance workers keep up the appearance, health, and safety of landscapes and features in public parks. They maintain jogging and biking paths, athletic fields, playgrounds, picnic tables, benches, lawns, flower beds, and gardens.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment DPS Background check
- Ability to pass a Drug test
- Ability to pass a Physical
- Ability to pass a Lumbar X-ray
- Must possess a valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Possess, or ability to obtain, applicator's pesticide & herbicide control licensing
Nice To Haves
- 1 yr. of experience working in a ground maintenance capacity, nursery, greenhouse, or other landscape related organization
